Just like the original, the “Mini-spot color” is made out of Medium-Density Fibreboard (MDF).
But, we have developed a way of coloring the MDF sheets before cutting them, using a linseed-oil based pigmentation method. This way, the material is not really painted, more like dyed which keeps the structure/texture of the MDF visible. The edges are black as a result of the laser-cutting.
The Mini-spot comes as a kit to be self assembled. Complete with wire, socket and instruction manual.
Small in size, but big in effect!
